Our goal is to create great products while having a gentle impact on our bodies and our planet. To wed the principles of fine cuisine with conservation. To create a synthesis of art, food, and ecology.
We strive to use ingredients that are unrefined, organic when possible, and which can be obtained directly from the source, and/or the origins of which we can trace; we often have real relationships with the people who harvest or prepare our ingredients.
We have put a great deal of thought into how to package our products in the most ecologically low-impact way possible. For our tarts and cakes, we use custom-designed, 100% recycled and recyclable, FDA-approved chipboard partitions. We strive to recycle, reuse and conserve as much of our waste as possible.
The vision of Planetary Pastry is to be one of a growing community of companies that value and model sustainability. Together we wish to set ecological standards which will become the benchmark.
